Who is Jesus?

He is a non-conformist. He preached a message so radical the religious leaders of His days killed Him. He is friends with people the world does not care about. He loves the broken, the lonely, the oppressed, the sad, the upset, the despised, the outcast. He is near to the broken-hearted, He uplifts those whose spirits are crushed. Nobody is a lost cause to Him. He can be touched with how you feel.

He offers something that cannot be found anywhere else. He gives true meaning to life. This world only makes sense when viewed through His loving eyes. This Jesus talked about the times we are in. He said there will be wars and rumours of wars. Look around you, listen to the news, what do you hear?

He also said there will be fake people pretending to be Him. I am sure you have heard of atrocities being done in His name but here is the thing, there can only be a counterfeit of something because there is an original. Fake pound notes exist because we have original pound notes. There are many fakes but you can know who the real Jesus is in the midst of confusing religious noise.

He said in His Word in Revelations 3:20: “Behold, I’m standing at the door, knocking. If your heart is open to hear my voice and you open the door within, I will come in to you and feast with you, and you will feast with me”.

Events in the world are getting worse but the good news is that Jesus has promised never to leave or forsake us. He now lives in our hearts if we accept Him. He offers assurances that cannot be found anywhere else and we can be confident that if we are His, He is more than able to save us from the darkness of this age.

More than I could ever tell you in this little letter, you can know Jesus for yourself. Jesus offers salvation, redemption, help, hope and healing and peace when life gets stormy. Just invite Him into your heart to become your Saviour and Lord and it is really simple to do so.

Just sincerely pray this prayer:

Dear Lord, I thank you for your love for me. I do not know you but I want to. Today, right now, I surrender my life to You. I acknowledge my sins and accept you as my personal Saviour and Lord. I ask you to come into my heart now and reveal yourself to me. Thank you for saving me, in Jesus name I pray, Amen’’.
