My Identity in Christ: Scriptural/Faith Confessions

“Father I thank You that the very day and moment I gave my heart to Jesus, He became my Saviour and Lord. I became Your child and my position changed for ever.

Your word says that even when I was dead in sins You quickened me, thus made me alive together with Christ. By grace I am saved. And You raised me up together with Him and made me sit together with Him in heavenly places in Christ Jesus. I am seated in heavenly places above all powers, principalities, dominions, thrones and kingdoms. All demonic powers are subject to me in Christ (Eph. 2:5-6).

Because I am saved, I am in Christ, I am no longer a sinner; I am now nigh to You, Father by the blood of Christ. I am foreknown, I am predestined to be conformed to the image of Christ, I am justified, I am glorified, no man can condemn me (Rom 8:1, 2).

I was created in Your image. I am accepted in the Beloved. Father, You are for me, You are with me and You are working for me and on my behalf. I am justified freely without cost by Your grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus. I am Your righteousness, Father, in Christ Jesus.

I am who You say I am. I am planted and rooted in You. No power can take me out of You. I am a royal priesthood, a holy nation.

I have perfect redemption, therefore I am what You and Your Word say I am, I am Your heir and a joint heir with Jesus Christ. I am Your blessed child, I am favoured. I am delivered from darkness; I am preserved unto the coming of the Lord Jesus. I am redeemed from the curse of the law, I am blessed. (Col. 1:13). I am a partaker of Your divine nature.”
